As part of the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency’s (TGA) Olive Route, the village celebrates olive-based gastronomy through local olive oil dishes, traditional flavors, and distinctive products such as herb ice cream. UNESCO-recognized intangible cultural heritage elements associated with olive culture, communal culinary traditions, and local food practices continue to shape everyday life in the village.

Surrounded by endemic plant species and the extraordinary biodiversity of the Kaz Mountains ecosystem, Adatepe offers a strong model for integrated eco- and cultural tourism. Nature walks, olive harvest experiences, and stays in restored stone houses allow visitors to reconnect with slow rural life, while nearby attractions such as the mythological Zeus Altar and the Ida Ultra (Afrodit Run) connect the village to wider cultural and nature-based tourism routes.

Only 3 km from the Blue Flag-certified Mıhlı Beach, Adatepe uniquely combines mountain ecology, coastal sustainability, mythology, gastronomy, and heritage preservation within a single destination.
